This is Lauren’s Grandfather and I only got to know him for about a bit over a year.  He was always nice and inviting to me.  He was extremely well educated and a great person and family man.  In ways I look up to him.  I think if you asked Lauren if she had any heroes or if she could be like anyone, I undoubtedly believe should would say her Grandfather.

Explosions in the Sky- Day 1, Day 2

I have an excitement right now that is inspiring and amazing.  Today I went for a stroll and as I looked up and down I saw many beautiful things and as Lauren pointed out what she sees, there was much more to take in.  I didnt have my camera today but other times when I have walked I had so i wanted to share some of those pictures. What it really helps me with is opening my eyes to the amazing beauty, design and nature in everyday things.  All you have to do is have the mind state to look for it.  For me that come with photography and listening to music.

Think about it when your on vacation you look up down and all around to see all the new beauty and excitement, I guess what is so cool is that is in our everyday lives and I am starting to see and feel that so much more .

I am overwhelmed with my enthusiasm right now, I want to post all my pictures so you can see all the simple/complex beauty in life.  But a lot of the pictures are already online.  So I guess that means I have to go shoot more. TRUELY BLESSED, my mind is free to see the beauty that surrounds me.
